Fez is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination and many non-Moroccans are now restoring traditional houses (riads and dars) as second homes in the Fez medina. Fez was the capital city of modern Morocco until 1925. The city has two old medina quarters, the larger of which is Fes el Bali. It is listed as a World Heritage Site and is believed to be one of the world's largest urban pedestrian zones (car-free areas). University of Al Quaraouiyine, founded in 859, is the oldest continuously functioning madrasa in the world. The city has been called the "Mecca of the West" and the "Athens of Africa".

We will stop in Ifrane, famous ski resort , then Azrou and Midelt , famous for its mineral products. We continue passing Ziz valley to reach Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Then we on to Rissani and Merzouga desert , where we stay overnight in desert hotel with dinner.

We explore main sights in Casablanca including Hassan II mosque, one of the largest in the world. Then we drive to Rabat , capital to explore the city. We continue to Fes where we stay overnight in local riad / hotel with dinner.
The forth day of private Morocco tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we drive explore Merzouga desert. During the day we meet Nomad family living in desert, having lunch with them. We explore desert dunes by 4x4 vehicle.
Later today we prepare for camel ride into the desert. Once we reach desert camp we climb high dune to enjoy desert sunset in Merzouga Sahara desert. We enjoy Berber dinner at campfire and we sleep in desert camp.
FROM MERZOUGA DESERT - TODRA GORGES - DADES GORGES
On the next day of private Morocco tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we drive to Dades Gorges. We will stop also in todra Gorges to explore canyon , very popular for rock hikers. We stay overnight in Dades Gorges in local riad / hotel with dinner.
FROM DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATTE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH
On the next day of private Morocco tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we drive to Marrakech. We pass valley of Roses , and Ouarzazatte. Here we may visit local movie studio where many famous movies were shot, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and otehrs. We visit the kasbah in city and then we drive to visit kasbah of Ait Benhaddou - Unesco site.
We continue our Tour from Casablanca towards Marrakech passing the Tizi n ichka mountain pass - highest road pass in Morocco. Once we reach Marrakech we stay overnight in hotel / riad with dinner.

We also explore The Menara gardens located to the west of the city, at the gates of the Atlas mountains. Like many Moroccan cities, Marrakesh comprises an old fortified city packed with vendors and their stalls (the medina), bordered by modern neighborhoods, the most prominent of which is Gueliz.
