Departure from Fes at 9am by comfortable transport 4x4 with English speaking driver to Meknes less than one hour away; we will visit Bab Mansour and El Hedim square, the monumental gate way to the symbol of Meknes, it is considered to be the most beautiful in North Africa; then Dar Kebira the imperial city inaugurated in 1677 by Moulay Ismail, Dar Kebira is the imperial city proper, it contained more than 50 palaces; lunch will be on site.
Then we will visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail located in the enclosure of the imperial city, in the end The Mederasa Bou Inania is a Koranic school, of Merenid period that was used until 1964, which includes the decoration made of calligraphy in Stucco and wood is one of the most refined in Morocco you can access on the 1st floor roof and enjoy a superb view of Meknes. Return to Fes at the end of the day.
