Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora desert

We at Morocco Holiday Planner - trusted Morocco travel company organising low coast budget travel from Marrakech. Thank you for choosing our Sahara desert tour. Pick up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 7:15 o´clock in the morning, and depart to the High Atlas mountains going through Tizi N´Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views. On the way we will see many Berber villages. Then we continue to the south east road that will take us to the ksar of Ait Benhaddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy. Then we continue to Zagora desert for a camel ride and night in camp.

Day 2: Zagora desert - Agdz - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

We wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise from a small dune next to the camp. Our 2 Days Marrakech shared group desert tour continues and after breakfast we return back to Zagora on the camels and again in our car we drive towards the Draa Valley. On the way we make some stops to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the valley that runs along the Draa river. This river is the longest in Morocco and flows through the whole country reaching Mauritania to end in the Atlantic Ocean. We`ll go then through the Anti Atlas to reach Ourzazate where we can visit Taourirt Kasbah, the cinema Studios and the Cinema Museum if you wish. Then we start the way back to Marrakech.
