Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

We at Morocco Holiday Planner - trusted Morocco travel company organising private travel from Marrakech to Sahara desert. Our private tour driver will pick you up in Marrakech at your hotel ,airport, bus / train station. Then we drive towards the High Atlas Mountains. We pass “the Tizi-n-Tichka” highest mountain road pass in Morocco. We will stop to enjoy beautiful view of landscape scenery. After that we will visit an Argan oil area where we learn a little about the production process. Argan oil is famous Moroccan product for body use and also for cooking. We continue our 6 days private Morocco tour to village of Ait Benhaddou. Here we will find famous UNESCO World Heritage kasbah. Several movies were filmed here ,such as Lawrence Of Arabia , Gladiator, Prince of Persia , Alexander, Marco Polo , The Mummy , Son of God , and many others.

After we enjoy traditional Berber lunch we continue our Morocco trip to the city of Ouarzazate - inhabited by Berber-speakers. We may visit here local movie studio - Atlas Studios is one of the largest movie studios in the world. One of the city main sightseeing is also kasbah of Taourirt, in city centre of Ouarzazate. We will continue the drive through the Skoura ,then “The Valley of Roses” where you may purchase rose products made in local area. We drive to Boumalne Dades where we stay overnight at the local riad / hotel in Dadès Gorges with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Dades valley - Todgha gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga desert

The second day of private Morocco tour with Morocco Holiday Planner starts exploring Dadès Gorges and the valley. We will enjoy amazing rock formation called “The monkey fingers”. Then we drive to explore Todgha Gorge , famous and popular place for hikers. Then we continue towards Tinijdad, Erfoud and Rissani. In Erfoud we may visit local fossil shop and factory as city is very famous for fossil products. We may stop in Rissani to visit local traditional souk. We continue to Sahara desert in Merzouga where we stay in local hotel / riad with dinner and breakfast.

Day 3 and Day 4: 4x4 and Camel Excursion in Merzouga Desert

On the third day of private desert tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we explore Merzouga desert. We prepare for camel ride into the dunes. Our experienced camel guides will take us into the deep of Sahara desert and after 1 hour camel ride and enjoying sunset in desert we reach Sahara desert camp in Merzouga. You may climb to high dune to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Sahara desert and then we will have traditional Berber dinner. We will enjoy Berber music around campfire and experience our stay in Sahara desert. This is unique experience and you will be happy to take amazing desert pictures. This night we stay overnight in traditional desert tents.

On the next day (day 4) you will enjoy optional desert activities and excursion across dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga sahara desert - Draa valley - Ouarzazate

On the fifth day of private desert tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we ride camels back to Merzouga village and we enjoy amazing sunrise in Sahara desert. After breakfast in hotel we drive back to Marrakech passing Rissani, Agdez and Draa Valley. We continue to Ouarzazate where we stay overnight in hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate

On the last day of private desert tour with Morocco Holiday Planner we explore Ouarzazate and then we drive across Tiizi n Tichka pass to Marrakech.
