Day 2: Exploring Marrakech with Local Guide
Today you will enjoy a guided trip of Marrakech ,then a visit to the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saâdien tombs and the Bahia palace. You explore the amazing medina and the fascinating Jamaa El Fna square with lively entertainment and lovely Souks. Overnight in local hotel.
Day 3 : Marrakech -
Our 8 Days Around Morocco from Casablanca continues after breakfast. We enjoy today’s travelling to the High Atlas Mountains through the 2,260 m altitude mountains pass of Tizin Tichka. Visit to the Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Free time to walk around the the beautiful Kasbah and go to the top to admire the beautiful views of the valley. Passing through the Valley of the Roses, famous for this crop and the different beauty products they make from it, to spend the night in the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight in riad/Hotel.
Day 4: Dades Gorges -
Today after breakfast we travel to Todra palm and Todra Gorge via Erfoud (which is the capital of fossils) to get to Merzouga. In the afternoon we will enjoy camel ride across the great dunes of the desert for about 2 hours. We spend the night in the heart of the desert, enjoying a stunning landscape. Dinner and overnight in nomad tents in the desert..
Day 5: Merzouga Desert -
Today we enjoy adventure trek by camels, and after breakfast and shower we head for Rissani;first imperial city of Morocco. Here we can admire its unique market, the largest in this region and a place where the nomadic desert tribes come to trade and restock. Very curious to see is the donkey parking place. On the road to Erfoud, we will have a panoramic view of the valley of Ziz with its palm trees and gorges. Once past the Tizi n Talbott pass we will stop in Midelt for lunch. Then we leave on the road to the great cedar forest where we must stop to see the indigenous Barbary monkeys in the wild. Before arriving in Fez, Morocco’s cultural capital, we pass through Ifran. Overnight in Fes riad.
Day 6: Excursion In Fes
After breakfast, we continue private Casablanca tour to desert and Marrakech and you explore sightseeing of Fez, the most ancient city of the Imperials, founded by Idris I (789) and his son Moulay Idris II (810). We will visit the medieval Medina with its Medersas (religious Islamic universities) Attarine and Bou Anania, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. After our (optional) local lunch we will continue to Fez Jdid (new Fez), and return to our hotel. Overnight: Fez
Day 7: Fes -
After breakfast,we departure for Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins, the thermal baths of Gallien, the forum and the capitol. In Meknes, visit to the Moulay Ismaïl Mausoleum, Bab Mansour, Bab Khdim. After lunch, departure for Rabat, Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
Day 8: Rabat Transfer To Casablanca
Today we transfer you to the airport and your 8 Days Around Morocco from Casablanca finishes.
