Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora

We at Morocco Holiday Planner - trusted Morocco travel company based in Casablanca and Marrakech - we organise private travel from Marrakech. Departure from Marrakech Marrakech by a comfortable transport 4x4 and English speaking driver; pick up from the hotel at 7am in the direction of Ouarzazate through Tizi-n Tichka the highest road offering spectacular views of the mountains and valleys. We cross Telouent Kasbah (Kasbah’s Glaoui) to arrive at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and visit his Berber villages, lunch on site, then we take the road to Zagora crossing Tizi_n-Tififft, a break in the village of Agdez after we cross Draa Valley to discover its palm oasis to reach Zagora. Staying in the Riad to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute – Mhamid – Erg Chigaga

Breakfast in the tent, we visit Zagora and its regions, the palms groves and the Jewish quarter, after taking the road to the desert of Mhamid Erg Chegaga, break in the ancient city of the 16th century to visit the ancient subterranean library Tamgroute was a historical center of the Nasiriyya Order, one of the most influential Sufi orders most important of the Islamic world. Arriving at Mhamid the end of Draa valley civilization, lunch and break on site, after taking the road about 2h to the Erg Chegaga dunes is one of the two main Saharan ergs, located about 98KM south of the city of Zgora, about 40KM to 15KM wide, some dunes measure about 60m high, it is the largest and wildest of Morocco. We arrive at sunset when you start the life of a nomad riding camels and travel in the desert with different facets of life and its various components. Dinner and night will be served in the nomad tent under the stars in the middle of pretty sand. It will be drum music at the evening campfire.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Tazenackt – Marrakech

Waking up early to watch the sunrise and having breakfast, taking the road to Foum Zguid, through Lake of Irriqui for reaching Taznakht for having lunch, then continue to Marrakech crossing Amerggane. Reach Marrakech in the early evening.
